Fujitsu's fi-5950 production scanner is developed to meet the highest industry demands of image quality, paper handling and throughput. It scans 105 sheets per minute in 200 or 300 dpi A4 portrait simplex or duplex, monochrome, greyscale or colour. The Fujitsu fi-5950 Scanner provides selectable processing options through TWAIN or ISIS driver settings and by utilizing its built in Kofax VRS Professional CGA 5 board. This latest generation CGA board allows for high speed performance experience even when combining several of the more advanced image enhancement routines that VRS Professional provides to the user.
The Fujitsu fi-5950 provides excellent paper handling functions for productive batch scanning. The hopper height allows comfortable feeding of different volume batches and can be set to three optional positions including continuous manual feeding mode. The individually controlled ultrasonic sensors prevent document multi feeds.
The active stacker tray is in its highest position when empty and lowers as it is filled up with scanned documents, preventing scanned paper sheets from curling and creating a mess. Easy user replaceable consumables and easy cleaning access additionally increase the production throughput by minimizing downtime.
