Fast scanning, including colour

With the Canon CD4070NW archiving machine, scan speeds for black and white images range up to 42 pages per minute in Simplex mode and 85 images per minute in Duplex mode. Documents can also be quickly scanned in greyscale or mixed mode - or front pages can be scanned perfectly in colour.

Reliable feeding

A high-precision paper feeding mechanism handles a variety of sizes from bank cheques to B4 pages, or even forms printed on pressure-sensitive paper. Images can be easily optimised. Advanced Text Enhancement improves legibility with hard-to-scan documents, colour removal increases OCR accuracy, and there's also blank page deletion.

Document Management Solutions

The Canon CD4070NW archiving machine may be integrated with document management systems such as Scanfile and Filedirector. Other document management systems will be able to import files from the designated directory of the scanned files from the Canon CD4070NW archiving machine.

52 x read/write capabilities and track-at-once writing ensure that CD-Rs can be read on a wide range of CD drives. The Canon CD4070NW archiving machine gives continuous operation with no interruption during processing, with extra CD-Rs recorded whenever needed.

Convenient configuration

Documents can be organised into cabinets and folders for easy filing and fast retrieval, with the ability to save configurations as templates for re-use on subsequent CD-Rs. Automatic keyword functions allow data to be automatically extracted from a specific area of a fed document, via OCR - which recognises diverse fonts including MICR characters.
